OEKOPROFIT certification for Thomastik-Infeld: On March 13th in the Wappensaal of the Viennese city hall

Every year, OekoBusiness Wien awards OEKOPROFIT certifications to selected companies for special commitment to sustainable operations. And we also received an award again this year for our optimizations in 2021 and 2022: The award ceremony took place on March 13th in the Wappensaal of the Vienna City Hall.

Among other improvements compared to the previous year, we were able to save a little more heating energy in 2021 and 2022. And we were even able to significantly reduce the electricity consumption per 100 strings: by about 27% from almost 11 to about 8 kWh per 100 strings. 

Since we at Thomastik-Infeld are also very eager to get more and more sustainable, we are very happy about this award and thank you for the beautiful presentation in the Wappensaal of the Vienna City Hall.
